Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I have to register?
As a Federally recognized Community Action Agency, we are required by law to gather and report of specific information on the clients that we serve. That information, such as age, race, ethnicity are commonly referred to as "demographics". This information helps the federal government determine where the greatest needs lie and where funds should be allocated.
Do you share or sell my data?
Never! We promise to secure your data to the best of our ability and to never share it without your knowledge or consent.
How do I know if I qualify?
Qualifications vary from program to program. The only way to determine if you qualify is to work with one of our program case workers. The first step is to register. Based on the information provided and program requirements, your case worker can determine if you meet the eligibility guidelines. You can view current Federal Poverty Income Guidelines here.
How often can I get help?
Some programs, such as Emergency Services, can only provide assistance once during a 12 month period. This requirement varies by program and service requested.
